Flying V
Gibson introduced this
historic replica of the 58 Flying V in 1998. Subsequently it has been renamed
"59" and since then the numbering reflects a historic 59 number. Here are

The engineers at Gibson
have paid the highest attention to details on this instrument. The solid
body construction is of the finest Korina. The extra-fast action neck is
of matching Korina with the Gibson adjustable truss rod.
The rosewood fingerboard
has attractive pearl dot inlays. The ABR-1 bridge permits the adjustment
of string action and individual string lengths for perfect intonation.
For greater guitar playing ease while sitting down, there is the "no slip
strip."
The twin '57 Classic PAF
reissue humbucking pickups are located for contrasting bass and treble
response, with separate volume controls and a master tone control. Equipped
with a toggle switch to activate either or both pickups.
