1980 and 1981 Color Flying V's

During those years, Gibson tried out different colors in very limited quantities (estimated less than 25 instruments per batch)

The colors that have surfaced to date are :


Candy Apple Red                Same with matching Headstock
Some instruments had a matching red headstock without the second logo


Fiesta Red 1981 Flying V (rings added and witch hat knobs replaced with fender type)


Ember Red (gold plated hardware probably not original).
