1984 Flying V CMT (Curly Maple Top)
This guitar was (supposingly) produced in 1984 only. It's features include two finishes :
There was an optional vibrato while some guitars had a stylized "V2" logo on the tussrod cover.

Here's a 1981 Flying V in Antique Sunburst finish, it bears the "SECOND" mention on the baclk of the headstock that indicates there was a flaw when the guitar was built and therefore Gibson sold it at a lesser cost (not always followed by the dealers) !
