Michael Schenker has been playing 1967, 71 Medallion, 1979 bloc inlay V's but the current most used black/white V diplayed during MSG tours is a 1975.
The first black/white V was most probably an ex-medallion V that was refinished. That specific guitar was refinished several times notably black, all white. The embedded coin was removed and the hole filled.

On this specific V (although it is probably not one of  the original ones diplayed on One Night AT Budokan - there were at least 2) the tuners were replaced by Schallers.
